Art and Social Identities in Late Antiquity

The Department of Classical Archaeology at the University of Aarhus recently received a generous grant from the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation to launch a research project on “Honestiores and Humiliores – Art and Social Identities in Late Antiquity”. This was celebrated on Friday afternoon at the project’s official opening reception at the university’s Museum of Ancient Art. We are grateful to the Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation for supporting our project and to everyone who stopped by at the opening.
